2021 Well Being Workshop B

Since March 2020, our lives have forever been impacted by the global pandemic, racial tensions, economic and political tensions. While we may be surviving through all of these challenges, for many of us, it has come at the expense of our ability to thrive emotionally. We are tired, exhausted and overwhelmed, and often wonder when will things get back to normal?

COMMUNITY is offering a two-week workshop with Laura Porter (Restore Hope: MS NCC LCPC) on the impacts of the past year and strategies to move forward in regaining emotional health.

  1. On Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m., COMMUNITY is offering an in-person gathering (masked and socially distanced seating) in the Coffee Gallery where we will watch a pre-recorded interview with Laura Porter and provide time for follow up discussion. NO childcare provided.
  2. On Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. COMMUNITY is offering an online ZOOM option to watch the pre-recorded interview with Laura Porter and provide time for follow up discussion. If you are interested in participating in this online zoom, please contact Jessica Jessica.s@cccks.org so she can send you the specific zoom link required to join.
  3. On Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., COMMUNITY is offering a follow up online ZOOM with Laura Porter for a Q&A dialogue to answer any specific questions on coping strategies, practical ways to engage in self-care, and how to respond to the intense pressure that has been placed on families during this season. If you are interested in participating in this online zoom, please contact Jessica Jessica.s@cccks.org so she can send you the specific zoom link required to join.
