Good Friday

As we journey through the Lenten season towards the celebration of Resurrection Sunday we have the opportunity to consider the work of Jesus on the cross on Good Friday.

This year, we will have two Good Friday gatherings on Friday, April 2nd.  Advanced Registration will be required for each of these services.  After deciding which service you will be participating in please click the link to register.

Traditional Good Friday Service–Friday April 2, 6 p.m.

This will be our traditional Good Friday Tenebrae gathering. This gathering will include traditional music, scripture readings, and liturgy all reflecting on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.

Bilingual Good Friday Service with Siloe Covenant–Friday April 2, 7:30 p.m.

This year we are adding an additional Good Friday option, which will be a collaboration with Siloe Covenant, our Spanish speaking, sister congregation. This gathering will be reflections on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross in English and Spanish, featuring modern musical worship with a worship band.

While we are making progress overcoming this pandemic, it is important that we continue to persevere with safety and health guidelines. We will continue to follow COMMUNITY’s mask and social distancing requirements for both of these services.
