Serving Opportunities

Our children are significant members of our church family, and that we have a huge responsibility to walk beside them during these formative years.

Our vision is that every child that we come into contact with experiences the love of Jesus in tangible ways. This love is most powerfully demonstrated through the care of our adult and high school leaders. Throughout the year, we have a significant opportunity to serve and mentor children as they are taking steps closer to Jesus and making faith commitments of their own.

Our leaders come with a variety of gifts and experiences, but the most crucial asset that they bring is a love for Jesus and a heart to serve people. the HUB kids
A Wednesday night ministry for children ages 4 – 4th Grade. This is a wonderful way to minister to children and families outside of our church. There are opportunities available to work with every age group, be a substitute teacher, be on the worship team, or be on the skits team. the HUB 56
This year, we will be using different curriculum for our 5th and 6th graders. This age group will still be part of Children’s Ministry, but this allows them the opportunity to be more challenged and dive deeper into their relationships with Jesus Christ. Nursery
Childcare is provided for children (birth – 3 years old) whose parents are involved in adult ministries on Wednesday nights from 6:15 – 8:00. You can volunteer once a month, every other week, or any other times that work for your schedule. Please contact John Paul Harris-Webster (johnpaul.hw@cccks.org) if you are interested.

Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School is a ministry that is deeply ingrained in our DNA here at CCC. It is a place where children go deeper into God’s Word in a small group atmosphere. If you would like to really dig in and build meaningful relationships with children, this is the place to do it! Training and curriculum provided. Wee Worship
Wee Worship is designed to bridge the gap between the nursery and adult worship, or High Adventure. Children learn about God in an age appropriate format similar to an adult worship service. There is an opportunity to hear God’s Word, pray, worship through song and complete application activities. If you are interested in helping with Wee Worship, there are opportunities on a monthly basis at 8:45 or 11:00 worship services. High Adventure
High Adventure is a children’s church program for grades 1 -4 during the 11:00 worship service. This gives children the opportunity to worship, participate in small group activities while applying Bible truths to their own lives, play energetic games and spend time with friends. There are serving opportunities for greeters, worship leaders, large group hosts, small group leaders, and set-up and tear-down teams. Serve once a month or any other schedule that works for you.
