Royal Family KIDS Camp 2018

Royal Family KIDS currently in foster care. Our goal was to treat them royally and for Jesus' light to shine through us. We had over 75 volunteers on staff who took one week of their summer to serve these children. We had lots of fun special events that included the Mr. Mike fishing derby, a carnival, Kona Ice Truck, a concert by Diego Fuller, everybody’s birthday party, and much more! The theme for camp this year was construction. The children learned about God’s blueprints for their life. The verse from the week was Jeremiah 29:11 “ For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future”. In September we will start our mentoring program called Clubs. Clubs will meet monthly until May. Each camper will have a mentor that meets with them one Saturday a month. We are so excited that we will be able to keep contact with our campers that are in the mentoring program and hope more “seeds” will be planted in their lives. We ask that you keep our campers in your prayers throughout the year. We appreciate your support. "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27

What is Royal Family KIDS Camp?  Royal Family KIDS Camp is a one-week residential camp designed to meet the unique needs of children who have been victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Royal Family KIDS Camp is all about creating positive memories for 32 kids who need a lot of love and patience.

The week is filled with awesome summer camp experiences: swimming, fishing, Bible stories, woodworking, leatherworking, talent show, outdoor games, basketball and much more.
