Kids Camping At Youthfront

Each year, we reserve a minicamp for kids entering grades 3-5. Kids entering grade 6 may select any of the middle school camps they wish to attend.You can go to www.youthfront.com/west and learn more about this awesome opportunity. Youth Front has been providing incredibly fun and amazing faith-building camps for many years. Community Covenant Church has a strong commitment to Christian summer camping and provides a modest scholarship to every child who goes to camp and is active at our church.  These are usually $20 - $30.  More information is provided to each family as the registration period closes.  

We chose this camp for several reasons:

• It’s goal is to help kids develop a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
• It has one summer staffer (trained and serving all summer) in each cabin. The second staffer is a volunteer from one of the churches represented at camp.
• It is very close to the KC area (30 minutes)
• It is only two nights and three days (an easier first camping experience for our younger campers.
• It has large variety of recreational activities that will appeal to a broad range of kids, a lake with paddle boats and canoes, a swimming pool, zip line, paint ball, organized games, recreation room.
• It has excellent speakers that generally are selected from children’s pastors in the KC metro area.
• We want kids to get excited about summer camp, and we think YouthFront is something truly to be excited about.
