Special Interest Groups

Special Interests Groups provide the opportunity for people to gather together who have specific interests, life stages (situations) in common. Our groups fellowship, study, and pray as well as go on outings together.

Cuddle Quilters and Knit Together

Wednesdays at 9am in the Library

This group began in order to make quilts for the Royal Family Kids Camp graduates (those who age out at 11 years). In addition to continue this service, we also gather for fellowship and fun. Several work on their own projects as well. Quilters, Knitters, and those that Crochet are all welcome to join us.  For more information, please contact Rosalyn Douglass or Mary Fugate.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a special 13 week seminar/support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Each session includes a video seminar and group discussion. A workbook assists you with note-taking, journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic reenactments about living with grief and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours.

You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is "self-contained", so you don't have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. Please contact Rosalyn Douglass for more information.
